Herman Kizito

Before Herman founded AIDEST, he worked as a counselor and outreach coordinator in a hospital in Kampala for several years. He also had his own business in secretary work in Mukono Town and worked for Generosity International as a project coordinator. All of this after finishing a introduction in philosophy course at St. Mbaga’s Seminary in Gaba, Uganda. And after that studying for the higher diploma in philosophy at Asmara Theological Institute in Eritrea for two years. Finally, Herman received a higher diploma in project planning and management at the Makerere Institute for Social Development in Kampala.

 

Augustine Mugisha

 

Stephen Olwenyi

After finishing his 3-years bachelor program in Philosophy at Uganda’s highly accredited Makerere University in Kampala, Stephen lived in London, U.K. for two years were he got  his advanced diploma in business management at the William Shakespeare College in Debtford. Before working at AIDEST, Stephen got business experience from in several organization, amongst others Uganda National Tropical Foods. Also, he has experience as an adult literacy trainer at Difra Language Service.

 

Samuel Galiwango

Samuel got his Bachelor of Commerce at Makarere University in Kampala. Afterwards, he worked for two years as a counsil assistent at Rosa Consults in Kampala and he was a teacher at Nyenje Primary School in Mukono for 5 years. At this moment, aside from his activities at AIDEST, Samuel is the founder and owner of his own consultancy organization GSConsults. Samuel fulfills several roles at AIDEST, both as a teacher and as a staff member.

 

Teun te Loo

The only non-Ugandan member of the staff is the Dutch Teun te Loo. He has an Applied Bachelor of Commerce, received from HAN University in Nijmegen (Netherlands) and a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from Tilburg University (Netherlands). Teun joined the AIDEST team in May 2013 after working for Dutch grid operator Alliander and our Dutch partner 1%CLUB.
