Tailoring, Fashion and design
During the tailoring and fashion skilling department, a participant will be taught how to handle the machine, theoretically and practically develop and cut designs and measurements and seize them to an individual’s specific needs. We currently have seven manually and four electric operated sewing machines and a knitting machine that fabricate school uniforms, company uniforms, local wears like gomesi, dresses, men’s suits, women’s suits, skirts, windows and door curtains among many works and designs), an embroidery machine (i.e. to design logos) and a designer machine (i.e. to finish the clothes) available. Focus will not only be on the production of clothes, but also on other high-demand tailoring products like bags, curtains and shoes. After finishing the course, there are several options for you to follow: Start your own youth production cluster group with 2 or 3 other students. Under our guidance, you can set up your own small business or enterprise partially supported by AIDEST or funded by reliable banks or other financial institutions against low-interest loans Start your own privately owned business, under the guidance of an AIDEST specialist. We help you realize funding at a trustworthy bank against low interest Get a job at the AIDEST production center. At AIDEST, we try to be self-sufficient by producing and selling our own products. Computer and I.T Courses
Computer courses and I.T basic skills are available for both school going students and youth in the community; those who have never worked with a computer before and the ones that have little understanding of using a computer. We currently have 8 computers permanently available, which all run programs of Microsoft Windows 10 and have basic software packages installed. The following computer courses are currently on offer in our program: Course Duration User fee Introduction to the computer 2 weeks Free Microsoft office 3 months $42 (Total package) – Word – Excel – Powerpoint – Acces – Publisher Computerized accounting packages – Quick Books 4 weeks $55 – Tally 4 weeks $55 – NCH 4 weeks $55 After following the course, a participant will be able to work with the selected program independently and in a professional manner. Metalwork and Fabrication
In the mental works and fabrication department, a participant or student is taught how to practically handle the machine with the guidance of a technical instructor. He or she will learn to design and create structural metal parts for a variety of industries, including auto, medical, food, housing and construction. Practically participate in all fabrication programs including training in welding, it involves addition to traditional coursework. These programs typically include lab components that teach students the hands-on skills required in the field of metal fabrication. We currently have a good number of manually and electric operated metal work machines and tools for a workmanship and fabricate of different products like doors, windows, cutting of various machines (small & big), drilling, leveling; fabricating different things that involves innovations.
