1%CLUB is the online market place for small-scale development projects, where individuals and businesses can directly offer 1% of their time, knowledge and income to a project of their choice. At the 1%CLUB you decide yourself to which project you want to give 1% of your time, knowledge or money. It’s all ver direct, engaging and transparent.

It was through 1%CLUB and its members that AIDEST first received advice on business planning and development and later realized funding enabling us to start off the first training center in Mukono. This partner is therefore highly recommended if you have an idea aiming for community development!

UCP-SARnet.Banner

University-Community Partnership for Social Action Research (UCP-SARnet) is a growing network of about 1,440 students, university faculty members, community activists and governmental officials engaged in achieving the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s) in 75 countries. UCP-SARnet is dedicated to the education of theof the next generation of community leaders by compiling and housing an interactive online library of resources and facilitating cross-sector collaborations, networking and multicultural dialogues.

AIDEST founder Herman Kizito has been collaborating with UCP-SARnet members on many community development issues. In October 2012 he attended an UCP-SARnet organized event (EMPeace LABs) on agribusiness and sustainability in communities.
